WWIII with the Brands

The word War gives us a visual about conflict, hatred, blood shed and all blah blah blah. This article speaks about Wars that are Entertaining and that which people are waiting to see a new one every other day. This is it – – its the BRAND Wars once again.
The BRAND Wars hit back …in not one but 3 full frontal attacks.  The Times Of India(TOI) had recently taken a dig at The Hindu with its campaign ‘Wake Up Chennai‘ where the taunt was soo obvious it was about The Hindu.

TamilNadu being an ardent Hindu reader community, actually started to like the AD as it had a popular tamil kutthu song incorporated to spread the Message. Everybody just went bonkers and starting sharing the ad on their respective Facebook and twitter Profiles. Totally went almost a popular viral back then.

It was about time everybody were eager what HINDU would come up with to counter the TOI’s Message.  Almost after quite a long time, in January 2012 HINDU had responded with an Amazing comeback to TOI. well i should say i was really happy the AD wars have started and im here to witness it. It was ‘Stay Ahead Of The Times’ campaign making an aggressive “up yours” counter attack at the TOI. And not just on television but through print ads.

Must say it was a Visual Delight

I would still Feel, even if i was an ardent Hindu reader myself. I also do like TOI due to the infotainment manner the paper is by itself.
